What is "sensitivity reading"?
Sensitivity reading, or diversity reading, is a type of editing which tackles stereotypes and discriminations in books, scripts and other forms of arts. Sensitivity reading is not censorship, it's like fact-checking, but for stereotypes. Its purpose is to not misrepresent any group of people, or even offend them.
